Patients overview
Patient records are the center of a clinical workflow in RehabAlpha. A patient can have demographics, coverages, admissions, therapy cases, clinical documents, schedules, billing periods, and related reporting history.
Patients cannot sign in to RehabAlpha and cannot be invited as users.
Patient workflow
A typical patient setup flow looks like this:
- Create the patient record.
- Add one or more coverages.
- Create an admission when the patient starts care at a facility.
- Add billing periods to the admission when billing setup is tracked in RehabAlpha.
- Start therapy cases for each discipline providing care.
- Document evaluations, treatments, progress reports, recertifications, and discharges.
Where to find patient records
- Open People.
- Click Patients.
- Use the active patient filter when you only want patients with an active admission.
