Write a progress report

Use a progress report to summarize patient progress during an active therapy case and support continued skilled care.

When to write one

Write a progress report when your organization, payer, or clinical workflow requires a formal update. RehabAlpha notices may also remind you when a progress report is coming due or past due.

Complete the progress report

  1. Open the patient's therapy case.
  2. Click Progress reports.
  3. Click New progress report.
  4. Select the correct date.
  5. Review goals, measures, and recent treatments.
  6. Document progress, barriers, and clinical reasoning.
  7. Save the report.

After saving

Check for any notices related to missing signatures, overdue documentation, or unresolved plan of care issues.
