Set up a therapist

A therapist is a person who provides therapy services and documents clinical care.

Before you start​

You’ll need a test organization to work from. See Set up an organization.

Create a therapist​

  1. Open People.
  2. Click Therapists.
  3. Click New therapist.
  4. Enter the therapist's name and email address.
  5. Turn on Invite user if the therapist should receive an invitation to join the organization.
  6. Click Save.

Add a license​

  1. Open the therapist.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Find Licenses.
  4. Click Add license.
  5. Enter the state, licensure, license number, and expiration date.
  6. Click Save.

License information helps RehabAlpha surface notices for missing, expired, or soon-to-expire licenses.

View a therapist​

  1. Open People.
  2. Click Therapists.
  3. Find the therapist in the list.
  4. Click their name.

Update a therapist​

  1. Open the therapist.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Update their contact information, licenses, settings, or invitation status.
  4. Click Save.

Delete a therapist​

  1. Open the therapist.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Only delete a therapist if they are not needed for schedules, documentation, signatures, notices, or reporting.
