Set up a non-clinical staff member

A person record represents someone connected to therapy care or operations. Person roles include:

  • Patient: receives therapy services.
  • Therapist: provides therapy services.
  • Physician: signs or is associated with clinical documents.
  • Staff: supports scheduling, billing, administration, or other non-clinical workflows.

Use the staff role for non-clinical team members.

Before you start

You’ll need a test organization to work from. See Set up an organization.

Create a staff member

  1. Open People.
  2. Click Staff.
  3. Click New staff member.
  4. Enter the person's name and email address.
  5. Leave Invite user off if you only want to create the person record.
  6. Click Save.

View a staff member

  1. Open People.
  2. Click Staff.
  3. Find the staff member in the list.
  4. Click their name.

Update a staff member

  1. Open the staff member.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Update their demographic, contact, or role information.
  4. Click Save.

Delete a staff member

  1. Open the staff member.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

If the staff member should sign in to RehabAlpha, set their permissions first and then invite them as a user.
